BSc MLT or Bachelor in Science in Medical Laboratory Technology is a subject that aims to provide qualified and sound professionals in Laboratory medicine, research, and technology. This subject is more biased for students who have chosen science in 10+2 or people with a diploma in related subjects.
Passed 10+2 Science or equivalent (with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) with 50% aggregate in total marks or GPA 2.4 OR,
Secured the percentage equivalent to the above eligibility in regards to the certificate level programs (eg. A-Level) with a different grading system OR,
Applicants who have passed the Health Science Proficiency Certificate/Diploma (General Medicine, Medical Lab Technology, Ophthalmic Science, Dental Science, Pharmacy, Ayurveda, Radiography, Physiotherapy) with at least 50% aggregate in total marks AND
Registered in Nepal Health Professional Council of Nepal Pharmacy Council or Nepal Ayurveda Council as per related educational program.

After studying BSc MLT you can work as a lab technician in places such as hospitals, research labs, blood banks, industry labs, health posts, Clinics, and nursing homes. You can also work for health-related organizations, government departments, and nongovernmental organizations. Plus, you can also apply in pharmaceutical industries, the Medical manufacturing industry, and as a Lab Technician in foreign countries.
